Lisa Marlow is a communications manager for housing and communities at the Urban Institute. Before joining Urban, Marlow was the media relations manager for Small Business Majority, where she managed reporter outreach, monitored the news cycle for strategic placement opportunities, and wrote messaging materials and media pitches. Before that, Marlow oversaw messaging and analytics as director of strategic communications for Subject Matter and was manager of communications for the National Low Income Housing Coalition. Marlow holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Towson University and a master’s degree in strategic communications from American University.
